We do not release at night , during bad weather or late in the afternoon when they will not be able to return to the loft before sundown. As stated we use White Homing Pigeons not white ringneck doves because these birds are completelly captive and have no way of remaining alive after being released. The white homeing Pigeon has been trained to return to the loft and can home for up to 600 miles . We do not condone self releases where a vendor might send birds to a wedding miles away and alow them to be released in all kinds of weather and any condition so the birds will be in harms way ,as a professional you can expect a professional releaser dressed in formal attire to make your release a special event |
